Google planning to launch more Analytics features this holiday season
The search engine giant is on its way to improve its Google analytics services by providing more advanced features to its users. These features are announced to make the life of an analyst easier. The features include annotations, custom variables, new tracking code setup wizard and a new version of the Google Analytics API. So, let’s discuss this concept in a better perspective.
This feature allows users to add or leave a private message or comment right below the Google analytics time graph. This feature comes handy to companies who give access to their analytics account to different users in the company. A user can leave out a comment talking about the downfall or increase in traffic at particular point of time.
New custom variables in advanced segments:
This feature will allow user to create a new partition based on any keys, value or custom variables. The good about this is that you can watch this segment across all your analytics report.

With this feature you will have the power to create your custom reports with key or value dimensions that are linked with custom variable. Custom variable segment behaviors are analyzed using this.
Tracking Code set up:
Unlike the default snippet of code in the current analytics, you will be have a custom tracking code based on the options you select during the set up.
New Google Analytics API:
There are lots more API features that will be announced soon.
